Martin Knight is a Certified Financial Planner™ and has passed the Series 7, Series 31 and Series 66 exams.  He is licensed to sell securities and to offer investment advice for a fee in Maryland.  He also holds a Maryland Life & Health insurance license.    

Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Towson University (1999) and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola College of Maryland (2003). 

Marty retired as a Captain in the Maryland State Police where he served for over 26 years, most at a command level rank.  His last position was Eastern Troop Commander where he commanded all the Maryland State Police Field Operations on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  After retiring from the Maryland State Police he turned a lifelong passion - investing and planning - into his next career.

Marty has three children, Kelly, Jessica and Tyler.  He and his wife Lynn live in Centreville Maryland.  Lynn Knight is an attorney in Centreville. See LynnKnightLaw.com
